Here at Carlsbad Literacy Program we invest heavily in supporting the development of our students whether that be in basic literacy, or computer skills by delivering reliable tutoring sessions to those who need them most. APPLICATION, ASSESSMENT AND INTERVIEW UPON BEGINNING IS REQUIRED TO UNDERSTAND YOU AS A STUDENT AND GAIN A PROPER VIEW OF YOUR CURRENT LEVELS. THIS IS NECESSARY SO TUTORS CAN KNOW WHERE TO START HELPING YOU.
BASIC LITERARY SKILLS
Most of our efforts pertaining to this program include tutoring for reading, writing and/or basic math skills. Students obtain a one-on-one tutor session to help with improving the following skills.
